Users and Roles

After installing the server there already exists the user “admin” which has the default password “admin”. When you login for the first time, you will be asked to change the password.

The admin user has the following privileges:

• Adding a new user

• Adding or deleting a podcast

• Assigning ownership of a podcast

• Importing podcasts and/or feeds

• Bulk download or upload of enclosures or transcripts

• Setting the website theme and domain

As admin user you have the choice to manage all podcasts yourself or you can easily delegate the management of a podcast to a different user (after the initial setup). In order to do so, you first have to add a new user (Menu) and then assign ownership of the podcast to him/her (Edit podcast).
